From up above

Ahh, what sweet sorrow at parting,
what warm happiness at reunion,
what yearning for the things they deny themselves,
And how it heightens their senses,
what sparks fly when the ache for one another becomes too much;
what games they play.

What pride and pig headedness they display,
what demands they make,
what roles they take,
what joy they bring,
what hurt they cause with the simplest things.

What love they share,
and oh how rare,
what precious time they've wasted,
if I could reach down and lend a hand then I would surely say this;

You should stand, proud and true,
beneath the setting sun,
voice your love and so become not two persons but one,
then take this love,
but not for granted,
through your lives and never doubt it,
it will keep you strong and clear;
put it first and never fear.
